I heard recently that for three weeks in July no one can go into the sea as that is when they appear.
The jellyfish migration occurs during the heat of the summer - from the middle of July through August. Their migration varies slightly with the temperature.
Last year (2009), they arrived in the middle of June.
(2008) the Start of July.
So it looks like they are arriving earlier and earlier.
