Victoria Falls is the widest in the world
Victoria Falls is on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia.
The Victoria Falls are located on the Zambezi River, which forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Known for their breathtaking beauty and immense size, the falls are one of the largest and most famous waterfalls in the world. They are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and attract numerous visitors each year.
Since 1984 Iguazu Falls have been considered a World Heritage site for their natural beauty and excepetional range of biodiversity. This series of falls is on the world's largest, comparable to even Victoria Falls on the border of Zambia and Zimbawbwe. Even beyond that, in Iguazu National Park which surrounds the falls there is a spectacular variety of unique wildlife. Over 2,000 species of plants alone are found in the region, as well as native wildlife. For these reasons, the Iguazu National Park is considered a natural treasure and a designated World Heritage Site.
There is no doubt that Niagara Falls is beautiful but it is not yet a world heritage site. It is a national heritage site in New York state.
