The Cape Henlopen Lighthouse fell into the ocean in the early 1900s. As the beach eroded and moved the foundational sand disappeared. The locals used the blocks for other building projects, and sold off th bits as souvenirs. All that's left of the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse is some material preserved at the Zwaanendael Museum in Lewes, DE.
