Where does the river plym begin?

In my opinion there is no end or the start of the any river or lake because if you look at any river or lake they don't have any end here is my example if we look at the Thames river in London we don't really know where it start from it might start from a water tunnel and if we look at the end of that we don,t know the end because River Thames goes in the some other directions . Any river , sea or lake don,t really have an end .
