The water usually flows fastest on the outside of the bend (meander) and flows the slowest on th einside of the bend.
Beacuse inside the Meander, there is no current where on the other side there is beacuse the water is pushed onto it. It's how Ox-Bow lakes are formed.

meander bends, mud and stuff get transported with the current, waterfalls, and etc

In these locations, the stream has less energy to transport sediment, leading to deposition of the sediment it is carrying.

A river's current slow down and tend to meander across a flat valley floor. The river's current is faster on the outside of the bend, and slower on the inside.
As a river deposits sediment on the inside of a meander and erodes the outside of the meander, the meander migrates toward the outside edge
