Wiltshire is one of the largest counties in the South West of England. Trowbridge is the county town, which is about 100 miles west of London. The largest town is Swindon and Salisbury is the only city in the county. Wiltshire is renowned for its ancient monuments, picturesque market towns and white horse hill carvings. Famous tourist attractions include Stonehenge, Avebury, Castle Combe, Lacock and Longleat.
