There are two different Colorado River systems in the US. The Colorado River (Texas) flows through Austin.
Where two rivers join, this is known as the confluence.
The two rivers that converge at the southwestern tip of Indiana are the Wabash River and the Ohio River. The Wabash River flows northward, while the Ohio River flows eastward, and they meet near the town of Mount Vernon. The Ohio River ultimately empties into the Mississippi River, which then flows into the Gulf of Mexico.
Columbia River
Two rivers that flow into the Pacific Ocean are St. Mary's River and the Margaree River.
The river Shannon flows through two lakes, Lough Ree and Lough Derg, and then flows into the Shannon Estuary and on into the Atlantic Ocean.
I think you mean a tributary. that is a river or stream that flows into a larger river. A strait is a narrow stretch of water that connects two larger bodies of water. :) social studies notes. use them. :) :) :) :)
Spain and Portugal.
Columbia River
This question might mean one of two things. The largest river that flows through the Australian Capital Territory is the Murrumbidgee. It flows near Canberra but not through it. The largest river that flows through Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory is the Molonglo.
Two main ways a river might change the land around it would be to erode the surrounding landscape (like how the Colorado river formed the grand canyon) and to fertilize the soil around it (like the Nile river).
