Crabs,mussels,and barnicles live there
purposes and dolphins
Dolphins are nektonic. An animal in the benthic category would be something that lived on the ocean floor such as an octopus, coral or small fish.
Oops that definition was for nekton. Sorry! Nekton are any sea animals that live on the ocean floor, from the continental shelf to the abyssal plain. Starfish, coral, sea urchins, and crabs are included.
a sea cucumber is a benthos because it does not move is just stays on the ocean floor
I think it is a Nekton because if it was Benthos it would live on the ocean floor, and Plankton are plants or plant like animals. Alligators swim freely and can't breath underwater.
Tiger sharks (like all sharks) are nekton. They actively swim around and catch their food, unlike benthos which live on the ocean floor and mostly filter-feed.
Cut some 1" peices and fill them in.
There is no difference, covered or uncovered, a covered pool is only going to keep the debri out or on top of the cover, where an uncovered pool is going to collect all the debri on the bottom of the pool its sometimes more work depending on where the pool is located, you may or may not have to scrub the walls and floor, The only problem I know of would be when the short burst or warm weather comes your water will turn green a lot faster without a cover, There is no difference, covered or uncovered, a covered pool is only going to keep the debri out or on top of the cover, where an uncovered pool is going to collect all the debri on the bottom of the pool its sometimes more work depending on where the pool is located, you may or may not have to scrub the walls and floor, The only problem I know of would be when the short burst or warm weather comes your water will turn green a lot faster without a cover,
A sea urchin is classified as benthos. Benthos refers to organisms that live on or near the bottom of a body of water, and sea urchins typically inhabit the ocean floor, often among rocks or coral. In contrast, plankton are free-floating organisms, and nekton are active swimmers.
Carpet is sometimes nailed to the floor.
Nekton are aquatic organisms that can swim and move independently in water, such as fish, whales, and squid. Benthos are organisms that live on or in the ocean floor, such as sea stars, crabs, and clams. Both groups are important components of marine ecosystems.
Nekton swim freely, like the electric eel. It's a nekton. Benthos are plants and other bottom-dwellers.
