Desilu Studios was originally co-founded by Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in 1950. After their divorce in 1960, Ball became the sole owner. In 1967, Desilu was sold to Paramount Pictures, which eventually absorbed the studio into its operations. Today, the legacy of Desilu continues under Paramount's ownership.
