People are cutting down orangutans habitats to build the houses we live in.
Orangutans are endangered because people are cutting down their habitat, the rainforest, causing them to die.
human beings chopping down there habitat
people are cutting down tree's (logging) and killing the creatures (poaching)
Cutting down trees destroys the natural habitat of orangutans, leading to habitat loss and fragmentation. This can result in displacement, food scarcity, and increased interactions with humans, leading to conflicts and threats to their survival. Orangutans rely on trees for food, shelter, and movement, so deforestation poses a significant threat to their population.
Orangutans are not yet exticnt. They are endangered and expected to be extict in year 2012.
People are cutting down their habitats, and making their farms there.
There are people logging (cutting down trees) and ruining the habitat of many creatures.
because humans are destroying their habitat. like cutting trees and taking wayy too many fruits. also cutting down palm trees for palm oil. male orangutans always stay up on palm trees,so without them they are dying out.

habitat Clearing is cutting down animals homes, like trees and forests. It's a man-made thing, like cutting down trees.
cutting down trees etc.
Orangutans are animals adapted to live in the forest, they can not live anywhere else. If the forest is all cut down all the Orangutans that lived in it will die because they have nowhere left to live. Humans are rapidly cutting down all the forests that Orangutans live in and this means that if we do not stop doing this Orangutans will become extinct. The people who live in the places where Orangutans are to be found know this yet they still cut down the forests, When there is not more forest and no more Orangutans, this will be their fault and there will be environmental consequences - they will pay for this stupidity. -------------------------------------------------------------------- In many ways have they been affected. Most of the population of the orangutans are being killed and the population is decreasing. So if the deforestation keeps on going on and on and on. Then in about two decades they will probably most definitely be extinct.
