Why do lions live longer in the zoo than in the wild?

Because in the wild, there is a possibility that the lion won't find/catch food sometimes, while in a zoo, they get fed on a regular basis, there won't be a time when they have to miss a meal. Plus, lions get hunted in the wild, but nobody's just going to bring a gun to the zoo and shoot a lion.

Whilst larger kangaroos have few predators, they are often hit by cars on outback roads, and zoos keep them safe from this.many smaller species of kangaroos are at constant risk of predation by non-native predators such as foxes, feral cats and wild dogs.
