because it is most likely their habitat or where they were born and do not want to leave because they've gotten use to this environment. And most animals do not live there i would say a little less then half and the rest would live somewhere else in the world. And if u meant to ask where do most animals live in the rain forest i would say most live in the canopy. And if you meant to ask which animals live there i would say probably panda's tiger's snakes
