To secure Athens from Piraeus
well i think that we have similair laws!
Athens was/is a city in Greece, a country in southeast Europe. Greek mythology is one of the main things that comes to my mind when I think about ancient Athens. <Feel free to improve this answer.>
I think you mean the "parthenon". That is in Athens, not Rome. It is ancient and was built by the ancient Greeks.
It wasn't meant to teach us anything. Greek myths didn't have morals built into them. The message of that story was one of Athens' superiority over Crete. The Minoans were depicted as wicked, lustful and evil, while the Athenians as noble, helpful, and heroic. I think that's clear enough.
i think it was rome
yes its true it was named after athene>
The Greeks built theatres or Odeons as they were called everywhere they built, for me the most fab is at Epedaurus, (I think that is near the spelling) I have been there and it is awesome
i don't think so there might be one but we will never find out
Athenians believed Socrates was corrupting the youth because he was making them question things. instead of just accepting Greek and Athenian traditions passed down to them, Socrates made them think about and analyze them.
This is all i can think of off the top of my head Athenians were expected to get and education, and serve in the military, also known as Ephebos. You were of course expected to follow laws or you would be put under arrest as you are now.
I think the answer would be yes
nobody knows, and nobody cares
