The liquify tool is great if you need to slim down people in your images. I've found that the easiest way is to do this is to use the forward warp tool. To do this go to the filter pulldown menu. Select liquify, then the forward warp tool which is on the top left hand side of the tool bar. You have to play around with the brush sizes and it takes a bit to get it down but it works and it's a quick fix. I often use it on arms or bellies if the angle of the shot isn't overly flattering.
