The name Himalayas translates to Treasure of Five Jewels, and was named thus because of their immense size and a way to secure the miraculous creation in the "Wonders of the World" list as the best of the 5 (at the time other "wonders" had not been discovered) wonders. This is a load of crap but i hope it makes those who really know chuckle a bit lol I'm bored.
