How do you activate the custom character creator in Lego Batman 2 DC Superheroes?

The character creator is in Arkham Asylum. You get to go there once you beat the first episode. From the hero mission room take the elevator down to the computer room and throw the switch at stage right to transfer from the batcave to Arkham Asylum. The custom character creator is in the experimental room.

You have to complete one chapter and then you have to find the lever to pull. The lever is right by the computer where you buy things in the batcave. when you pull the lever, you get to be the villans. In the experiment room while you are villans is where the character customizer is.

You need to complete the game than go to the batcave and head to your left where the bat logo is. You'll see it when you first start the game.

P.S. you don't need to complete the game 100% just all the missions
