When you open your "phone" under the list of friends there are 3 buttons, I believe that they are FRIENDS, ADD, and INVITE. You click add then type in a username and it will send that person a friend request.
Another way would be to go to the clubhouse and ask people there, you click on where it says __ Webkinz in Room, and it it is pretty simple from there. there are two buttons, one is for allowing people to send you requests and one is to send people requests, NOTE: you need to be allowing requests to send requests.
or whenever you play games you can add them me and my friend did that and we faced each other on the first time we looked for someone

Turn your webkinz phone on and click on the 'add' button. Type in the name of the host you want to be your friend, and if you type it in right, it will say 'Your message has been sent'. Then you have to complete a certain task, for example, if you want Ms. Cowoline to be your friend, you have to complete three classes before she accepts your request. Hope that helps :)

If you see something like gilbert815, that is either their user name or there pet's name. You can add them to your friend list, by clicking on your cell phone on the menu bar, then click the ADD FRIEND button, and type their username. Then it will say A FRIEND REQUEST WILL BE SENT TO ______. When you log-in it will say if the person said either"Yes" or either "No". Hope it helps!
