How do you enter a Pokemon card tournement?

First of all, find out where one if being held. You might have to travel a bit to participate in one.

I would suggest going to them but not actually competing yet, to get a feel for the game. You can also pick up tips and new cards at many places that hold them.

When you decided to compete, you need to have a legal deck of 60 cards. You can easily find out the rules if you look on the web-usually if the cards been marked or defaced, is a special card (i.e.-jumbo sized) or you can tell what it is without picking it up first, it cannot be entered. Also, there are two types of tournament to be entered in: restriction and free- the free is any card, restricted is usually the 3 or so last set released.

Like a lot of sports,you work from little tournaments to big ones. Be careful though: the "most powerful" pokemon cards aren't always the best. Going to tournaments first gives you an idea on what sort of decks people make up-you;d be surprised what makes a good combination.

I think you are supposed to be a member of Nintendo to do so... but if I had to say something else, I would say keep on trying to find a button, maybe saying "Tournament Mode." Try it, it might work!
