Before school starts, make sure that you are prepared for the class. You don't want to walk into the classroom without a lesson plan. You can make a sample lesson plan before the first day of school and practice on your children. Look at everything that you have planned and make any adjustments. After the first day, examine how the class went and add any other lessons to the following days.
you should get a schedule mailed to you three days before open house

You have two options, you can call the schools or you can go to them and schedule it. If you're going to the school go to admissions or registrar.

If school starts are 7am, you might want to get up around 6am. If you went to bed at 10pm, that would give you 8 hours of sleep.

Um, I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean a school year, it depends on the school/collece, but usually starts around Augustand goes through the summer until the next year starts in the fall. If you mean a specific college's schedule for a year or a semester, you'll have to look that up on the specific college's site. They will have the deadlines for application, the dates that classes start, major vacation dates, and dates for classes ending, etc. for each semester... or at least the ones coming up relatively soon.
