How do you mod a Nerf gun?

to modify a Nerf nite finder (if it's not the one you're looking for then sorry, I can't help) all you need to do is unscrew all of the screws, then you take the plunger, and take it out. before this if you are doing your first mod, then take a piture of the inside to make sure you put the gun together right. on the side of the plunger that has the air restictor, you will notice a piece that looks circilar (spelling?) and connectable with little force. take that piece off. (I've heard that Nerf super-glues the piece to the plunger) after that there is an air supressor and an air restrictor and a spring. take the spring and air suppressor out, then take a wire cutter and cut down the pin. drill out the part where the pin was and put the gun back together using your photo., but without the air supressor and spring (the tiny one) after it's put back together, take a rubber band and hang it on the cock. put it thuogh the part that you cock with and up to the front. now it should shoot like a longshot (maybe better)

Ok, if you want to edit (mod) your Nerf gun, i know a way to make it more powerful, and shoot farther. First take out all the screws on the gun so it pops open, then you will find a tube with a small spring and a cover to it, that is the air restrictor, you want to take out the spring and air restrictor, now head over to where the darts slide down on the inside pole, remove that and the air should go through more smoothly making it go farther and powerfully.

You can also make your Nerf gun shoot airsoft bullets. First take a simple round pen (not flat edged ones) and take everything out and keep the shaft of it, then you take a Nerf dart, any will do, and shove the pen shaft into it so it reaches the bottom, put the dart into the gun as you usually would. Now your going to want to tape the dart and pen shaft into the gun, masking or electrical tape works good. Once you have it in good so it doesn't move your going to go get a airsoft bullet. Your going to easily edit this bullet so you can aim down without it rolling out of the gun. Take a straw that just fits down the pen, then take the airsoft bullet and put it in the end of the straw. Your going to want to cut about a centimeter in from the tip of the straw. Once you load that into the gun, you can now aim down if your shooting below you without it falling out.
