There are 52 cards in a full deck of cards

13 SPADES
13 CLUBS
13 HEARTS
13 DIAMONDS

Each face goes from 2-10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace

So... NOT including the Diamond face cards, there would be.. 39 cards.
