You also draw when you or your opponent activates an effect that allows you to do so. In this case, you draw as many times as is stated on the card (i.e. If you activate Pot of Greed, you will draw two cards).

Note that if you cannot draw when forced to do so, you forfeit the game and the victory is handed to your opponent. This only occurs if you have no more cards in your Deck when you are forced to draw.
