You need to be more specific with which Space Marines you are referring to. Is it standard Ultramarines? Space Wolves, Black Templars, Blood Angels? This will change what upgrades they get. Then also, are you talking about tactical squads, assault marines, devastator squads, veterans HQ? It changes what you can add to each squad.
Space Marine Tactical Squad (includes 10 Space Marines) Space Marine Combat Squad (includes 5 Space marines) Space Marine Rhino Space Marine Scout Squad (includes 5 Space Marine Scouts) Space Marine Assault Squad (includes 5 Space Marines).
A space marine battle force consists of 1.Rhino/razorback 2.10 tactical marines 3.5 Assault marines 4.5 Scouts ---------- Depending on how armed, it can add up to roughly 500 points
This is entirely based on the weapons you give them and how large you want the squad to be. They're 20 points a model and you can have a minimum of 5. Leaving you 100 points of Assault Marines, if you want more they cost 18 points to expand on I believe.
5 Marines = 90p. Each additional (up to a maximum of ten) costs 18p. + weapons.
Only in the multiplayer.
A space marine scout bike squad is 70 points
This depends on the size of the squad, and in what scenario they are. If it is 1 Space Marine vs. 10 Fire Warriors, the Marine doesn't stand a chance and vice versa. Also, Space Marines are better all-rounders where as Fire Warriors are excellent long range firepower troops. At range the Fire Warriors should come out tops, but at short range and close combat the Space Marines would crush the Fire Warriors. On a point by point basis, the average Marine is worth 16 points, and a Fire Warrior is a worth 10. So if the squads are equal in number, the Space Marines are technically a stronger squad.
160 points without any upgrades
You must take 3 models as minimum, 1 Sergeant and 2 Space Marine bikers, which costs 90 points. You can then add up to another 5 more, which costs 25 points per model. An attackbike, of which you can take one in a bike squad, costs 40 points.
5 at the start, 4 of them normal and 1 Sergeant but you can up to five more at 16 points each.
No. The only armies in the game are Chaos or Space Marines. Being a necron player, I too wish they were in Warhammer 40k: Squad command.
