Yes. There are 2 ways to obtain the space characters on the V5. 1. Marry your tamagotchi (it doesn't matter what character) to a Sunnytchi that a Planetchi brings at the dating show. It will not appear immediately. Just keep going to the dating show until it shows up. 2. Marry your tamagotchi to a japanese V5 (called the royal famitama)

When will the machmaker come on your tamagotchi?
For the Tama-go Tamagotchi, the matchmaker doesn't come to your house. Instead on the Tama-go you have to visit the dating place on the 'door' selection. It won't come up when your Tamagotchi first morphs into an Adult. Your Tamagotchi has to be 6 years old, in order to go to the Dating Place. You can go as many times in the day, but you only get 3 young adults and if you say 'NO' to all. The only Tamagotchi that comes is Ojitchi for a girl and Otokotchi for a boy. 3 more young adults come the next day. For the Familitchi, when your 3 Tamagotchi are adults for at least 1 day or so. You go onto the Dating Channel and you'll pick which one you want to marry. Then the matchmaker will select a few males/females for your selected Tamagotchi to marry. For the V4.5, the matchmaker comes when your Tamagotchi is an adult at either the age of 4 or 5. For the V4, the matchmaker comes when your Tamagotchi is an adult at the age of 4 or 5. (That's all I can remember for all the Tamagotchi I have gotten, lemme know if you have any information for the V3, V2 and V1. )

I also have a V5 tamagotchi who is an adult and the dating show just won't work! Unfortunately before your tamagotchi can start dating, marrying and (it's true this actually happens) having babies, you have to wait an additional two days! I know what you are thinking, but I've searched everywhere and cannot find any codes to speed up the process, soo you'll just have to wait until then! Once you can, you go on and select one of your three tamagotchis; the one that you want to go dating. There are many different tamagotchis you can choose from, but unfortunately you can only see three every half an hour! After you have looked at three and canceled every one it will send the match maker to sleep and she will only wake up after 30 minutes (i know! more waiting!) and once the tamagotchi is married then is when your tamagotchi will have to say "good-bye" to their brothers/sisters and then you and your partner will turn into different characters and a number of eggs will hatch! then the parents will only come on to play golf putt shoe pair, give medicine and eat.I hope that this helped you a lot!
