From the home page, click Profile on the top tool bar, and then go to Edit Profile. Go to Account Settings, Then click in the smaller blue words that show up Privacy, and then change it. If you have Profile 2.0, you can't just go from Friends to Open to anybody. You select it by the different options that they show.

To delete a player in Words With Friends, open the app and go to the "Friends" tab. Find the player you want to remove, then tap on their name to access their profile. Look for the option to "Remove Friend" or "Unfriend," and confirm the action. This will delete the player from your friends list.
In order to edit any part of your profile on this site, and if you've already filled it in and want to change it (specifically the "about me" part) you just go to your profile and click on the words "Edit this page" next to your profile name, then save at the bottom once you are done changing it.

Actually, if you right click after the friends comment, you will have the opportunity to hide the application, or hide the friend. If you have to hide them, then they probably should not be on your friends list.
