Here are some of my favorites though: Playmobil toys Great little toys that have lots of different sets that you can mix together to make quite a world. They have a lot of animal figures as well, which is cool. Legos ... not only are they good for kids, but I use them in teaching college classes sometimes. Excellent stuff. Fisher-Price toys... I don't like them as much now, since they have changed their little figures, but when I was growing up I had the airplane, the boat, a Sesame Street set with a little Bert and Ernie, and tons more. Those were great toys that aided imagination.
