Monte Carlo Whist RULES: 1. Persons sitting opposite are partners. 2. Cut for deal--high card deals. 3. Deal out 13 (thirteen) cards to each person, one at a time. 4. Dealer leads game. 5. Players MUST follow suit. If no suit cards, player MAY trump. 6. Highest value card is Ace, then King, Queen , etc. 7. Play one hand and combine partners=combined scores. 8. Score one point for each trick unless otherwise stated. 9. WINNERSmove from tables. PLAYS: 1. HEARTS are trump. 2. SPADES are trump. Score 2 (two) points each trick. 3. No trump. Your score is number of tricks taken by opponents. 4. CLUBS are trump. Duce is wild. (First played takes trick.) 5. SPADES are trump for first five tricks.
