You need to counter the player's style not just the army they play. If the army uses a lot of psychic powers field librarians, if it's daemon heavy use Grey Knights. If they use Thousand sons, counter them with artificer armor or terminators. Plague marines are countered with high strength weapons, such as plasma weapons, meltas, lascannons. Infantry heavy armies can be countered by tanks and walkers.
No. You can however use lesser demons and demon princes in a Chaos Space Marine Army.
Many people would say Space Marines or Chaos Space Marines.
They Are The Second Best 40k Army Below Tau And Just Above Necrons
No, Chaos Space Marines are the traitors to the Emperor in Warhammer, they believe that the Emperor and everything he stands for is wrong. Space Marines are the ones still loyal to the Emperor fighting in his service against the Chaos and Xenos(alien) threat. The Chaos Marines were formed when Horus, the Emperors favorite son whom he named warmaster of his troops, fell to taint of Chaos. The Emperor and Horus fought until the Emperor finally killed Horus, but his wounds were so bad he has been put into a stasis chair for the past 10,000ish years.(not positive on the number) Horus, and all the other Chapters who fell with him are known as the Traitor Legions.
You must out shoot for distance and when close out cc them, 10 man tact squad with a pf would work. Using a Vindicator to back up tact squad a good idea to.
Well, the Chaos Space Marines are quite powerful, with their Daemon Prince Kharn, who suffers 6 wounds before he dies, but they are very expensive in my view and they lack the raw military power in the air. I myself collect a customized Space Marine army named "The Black Hand". Now I don't play The Chaos and I just don't know enough about them. But that's all I have to say , really.
No, it's stated in the fluff that while not all Khorne Berzerkers are World Eaters, all World Eaters are Khorne Berzerkers.
It all depends on your playing style
The Marines are Marines. The Army has Army Special Forces AKA Green Berets.
The US Army fought more because there were more of them, but the US Marines also fought against the Germans in France.
That depends on the types of models are in it! You can find a 3000 point chaos army with very little HQ or Elite units.
To my knowledge there is no "Apocalypse" model. There are Apocalypse formations for each army though.
