Bachelor of Science degree; BA = Bachelor of Arts degree
A BS in higher education is a Bachelor's in Sciencedegree, which is a four year program of study, provided the student takes the program as prescribed by the institution. Be advised, the indication of science does not always mean the degree is in the exact sciences, like Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. The degree can also be in a variety of other areas, such as Business, Engineering, Nursing, etc.
