If the planchette spins and the board touches you during a Ouija board session, it often indicates that the participants believe they are communicating with a spirit or entity. This movement can be perceived as a sign of an active presence or response to questions posed by the players. However, skeptics argue that such movements are typically the result of the ideomotor effect, where subconscious muscle movements guide the planchette. Ultimately, interpretations vary widely based on personal beliefs and experiences.

A ouija board and planchette made out of anything has the potential of working. However I advise that you proceed with caution.
You need a board with the whole alphabet and 0-9 on it, a short cup or planchette, 2 people to hold a hand lightly on the planchette, and 1 person recording down what the board says in response to the question.
A Ouija board does not really allow communication with the dead or 'spirits'. The board has marked areas for letters and statements (eg Yes/No - hence its name which is Yes in French and German), which the planchette supposedly moves onto to indicate messages. The planchette actually moves because the people playing, each rest their fingertips on the planchette, and it is not possible for everyone to do this for any length of time without the balance of everyone's finger pressure being uneven and moving the planchette.
The Ouija Board is not the right answer, that's not heart shaped, it is planchette. its like a ouija board, but isn't one.
An ouija board is a tool to communicate with the spirits. It is not a toy to play with. Take some friends and place your hand above the planchette and ask any question you want. The planchette will force your hand to move.It looks like an indicator. This is known as ideomor effect. After asking the questions place the indicator at the GOOD BYE. If you dont then the spirit will haunt you.
Not as well: There is usually too much friction to get the planchette to move smoothly.
It is said to be a combination of spiritual energy and the spirit using your body to move the planchette across the board.
There are many ways to "release a spirit" from a ouija board. You can move the planchette backwards through the numbers, invite the spirit to come out formally, or move the planchette off of the board during a conversation with a spirit. Beware! It is NEVER a good idea to invite a spirit into your home (or anyone else's.) Spirits are tricky, and not to be trusted. Stay Safe! ALJ
When you draw a Ouija board, you create a flat board marked with letters, numbers, and symbols, often accompanied by a planchette or pointer. Participants place their fingers on the planchette and ask questions, usually about spirits or the afterlife. The idea is that a spirit will guide the planchette to spell out answers. However, many people view the experience skeptically, attributing movements to the ideomotor effect, where subconscious actions influence the movement of the planchette.
