Tardive dysphoria is a condition caused by antidepressant use and stems from the brain overcompensating to adapt to said antidepressants. It results in a chronic and treatment resistant depression.
If your getting spasms or jerks, etc., write down all the meds your taking and at what time of day. Take this to your Psychiatrist/Doctor to see if the meds are fighting against each other. If not, ask for meds comparable (equal) to the ones you've been taking, but different so they can stop the TD's from happening. At least that's what I did when I started jerking my legs, arms, etc. Since I've altered (changed) my meds, I've been "jerky" free. : ) Good Luck

Meige Syndrome is primarily caused by abnormal function of the basal ganglia in the brain and is characterized by involuntary movements of the face and jaw. Tardive Dyskinesia, on the other hand, is usually a side effect of long-term use of certain medications, particularly antipsychotics, and involves involuntary movements of the face, tongue, and limbs. Both conditions involve involuntary movements but have different underlying causes.
severe side effects such as movement disorders (e.g. tardive dyskinesia), hormonal imbalances, weight gain, and increased risk of metabolic problems like diabetes.
Adderall is primarily prescribed for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy, and it is not indicated for treating tardive dyskinesia, which is a movement disorder often caused by long-term use of antipsychotic medications. In fact, stimulant medications like Adderall could potentially exacerbate movement disorders. Treatment for tardive dyskinesia typically involves the use of other medications, such as valbenazine or deutetrabenazine, and careful management of the underlying condition causing the symptoms. Always consult a healthcare provider for appropriate treatment options.
Vitamin E supplementation may lessen or eliminate this side effect in some individuals.
Signs of this disorder are involuntary twitches and muscle spasms in the face and body and jutting or rolling movements of the tongue.
