A spear. Some people will tell you a katana, but the katana has little practical value in mass combat.
The Katana or Samurai Sword.
Japanese Samurai
the bound sword is a bound daedric claymore. that weapon is tied with the daedric warhammer.
No, you cannot bring a katana on a plane as it is considered a weapon and is prohibited in carry-on luggage. It must be checked in with your luggage.
The katana is with out a doubt the primary weapon. The wakizashi was the secondary weapon. But not necessarily. It depends on the era your talking about. If you mean prior the the 1600's during the warring states era, then the katana would be a secondary weapon. The primary being a bow, naginata, spear, or even a firearm depending on the time & the individual. Durring the Edo period, then yes the katana became more of a primary weapon, since there were virtually no more wars.
Katana's are better but who cares there illegal in all states so screw the katana's and the jiang's and just go live life without violence!
