There are many ways that math and numbers can be used in puzzles. A popular puzzle that uses math and numbers is Sudoku.
In an average Sudoku puzzle there are nine larger boxes with nine small boxes inside each. The small boxes each get a number one through nine so that each larger box has nine different numbers in it. Therefore, nine different numbers are used and 81 numbers total.
1 2 3 4 5 5 7 8 9 0 (no letters, just numbers)
One can become better at completing Sudoku puzzles by practice. Start with the beginner puzzles and work the way up to higher tiers of challenge. Remember that in a Sudoku puzzle with in the block, numbers can only be used once and with-in each line - vertical or horizontal, numbers again will only be used once in some sort of sequence of 1-9.
Any given Sudoku puzzle has just one solution. This is so long as the puzzle already comes with at least 17 digits already placed on the grid. If there are any less than 17 digits, then the puzzle has more than one possible solution, and therefore cannot be solved properly. The total number of possible combinations of digits on a standard sudoku grid is 6,670,903,752,021,072,936,960. However it can be argued that many of these combinations could be the same as another, only backwards or rotated. Factoring out all logical duplicates, the number of possible combinations drops to 3,359,232. This is essentially the total number of possible sudoku puzzles. * My Friend Dev Oneal has completed an 'Impossible Level' Sudoku puzzle, as I checked the answer given by the "Auto-Solve" feature and compare with his solution and have found both was correct but with different pattern. Hence, it could have more than 1 correct answer.
I suppose you mean kenken. It is like sudoku but has 6 numbers instead of 9. I don't think there is a grid for that, but it used addition, subtraction, multiplication and division...to what I know. Numbers do not repeat in a row or column (similar to sudoku but there is no 3 by 3 grid, so thats one less restriction). Hope that's what you want.
Standard bingo games use O 75 as the highest number
MIN is used to find the lowest number in a range. You would use MAX or LARGE to find the highest number in a range.
In maths it is the highest number in a sequence :)
The number 91 is the highest uniform number currently being used. It is worn by Yankee pitcher Alfredo Aceves. The highest number all-time is number 99. That number was used by two Yankees, Charlie Keller (1952) and Brian Bruney (2009).
