Hawaiian Rummy

Use 2 decks with Jokers. Deal 10 cards. Place the remaining cards face down on table. Turn the top card over. The player to the dealer's left must pick up that card or pass it, PLUS one more off the top of the deck, to the player on his left. Then he will pick one from the top of the deck, make a play if he can, and discard. At your first lay down you can play only what is required, no extra cards, and no cards on other players. After your first lay down, you continue to play on your self and others.

You can have as many sets as you can make but only one run.

A set consists of three matching cards ex: 3 fours.

A run is four consecutive cards of the same suit ex: the 4,5,6,7 of clubs.

1-2 sets

2-1 set----1 run

3-3 sets

4-2 sets---1 run

5-1 run of seven---1 set

Wild cards are 2's and Jokers. You can pick them up from the board if you can replace them. ( From your piles or from the other players' piles.) You can use as many as you need.

SCORING:

Jokers-----------50 points

Aces and 2's-----20 points

9's to Kings------10 points

3's to 8's-----------5 points

Hawaiian Rummy is played just like regular rummy. Players draw cards from the pile or pick up cards from the discard pile. The object is to lay down three or four cards that either make up a set of one suit or a run of cards. The difference with Hawaiian Rummy is that there are wild cards. The jokers are wild and the two's.

Bikini: 3 decks and three or more players. Play is started by dealing out seven cards to each player. The player to the left of the dealer starts by playing or drawing until they can make a valid play. A valid play is a set of 3 or more cards (either of the same value or a suited run) . The ace can be either high or low, but “around the corner” runs are not permitted. A player‘s turn ends with a knock, signaling the next player to begin. Each player, in turn, must play or draw until they can play. A single card placed can constitute a turn, and all sets and runs on the board can be reordered so long as the resulting play leaves all sets and runs with 3 or more cards. A player can construct as many sets or runs as possible durning their turn in an attempt to use all of their cards. The first player to play all of their cards wins and records a zero score. The other players record 5 (2-9), 10 (10-K) and 15 for Aces. The player with the lowest score wins when the beverages run dry. It is called bikini because there is not much to it!
