The difference between Big O notation and Big Omega notation is that Big O is used to describe the worst case running time for an algorithm. But, Big Omega notation, on the other hand, is used to describe the best case running time for a given algorithm.
Although in common day sentences there is no big difference, accident is not as formal as the word incident. In other words the police would used the word incident .e.g. at the was an incident at the bus stop late last Sunday. (A public disturbance) An accident is more commonly used to describe an everyday situation. But really there is no big difference and they both generally mean a casualty caused from an action which was not meant to happen.
