It's happy!
Do you mean the exclamation mark that appears over a Tamagotchi's head on the Music Star/V6 or the Tama-Go? When that happens, your Tamagotchi needs attention.Try pressing any button. If that doesn't solve the problem, try the icons. The Health Meter will tell you if your Tamagotchi is stressed/unfriendly towards you, hungry and/or unhappy. On the V6, if the Music Notes icon is highlighted as well as the exclamation mark over the Tamagotchi's head, that means it's time to perform in a concert. Also on V6, the Door icon may be highlighted, and if they are, somebody's at the door.If that's fine, try punishing your Tamagotchi (or punishing/praising it on the Tama-Go; it's random whether you punish or praise on Tama-Go) using the Training Icon, and Time-Out/Punish.If you don't mean the attention symbol, do you mean "Tamagotchi!", the anime based on Tamagotchi, the virtual pet? If so, nothing really. ;)If that's not it, I'm not sure what you mean. :)

From the headmaster merle ambrose. or people with a exclamation point over there head
The origins of the exclamation point are not definitively known, but it likely evolved from a Latin word written at the end of a sentence to indicate a sense of joy. Over time, it became a standard punctuation mark in the 15th century to denote emphasis or strong emotion in writing.
The exclamation point means you have to talk to them because you either have a "mission" or they need to talk to you.

The use of the exclamation mark for the factorial function is often attributed to French mathematician Christian Kramp in the 19th century. He introduced the symbol to represent factorials because it was already commonly used in mathematics to denote "not" or "negation," aligning with the idea of multiplying decreasing positive integers. Over time, the exclamation mark became widely adopted for factorial notation due to its clear and concise representation.
