For example, the board game 'Clue'. It was originally called 'Cluedo' and was first thought of around 1947 by Anthony Pratt in England, but WWII kept it from being actually made until he sold the rights to his idea to a British company called Waddington's in the mid 1950's. Later on, it became known to the rest of the world as 'Clue' and was marketed by Parker Brothers (which was later on bought out by Hasbro). So, it could be considered a '50's toy since it didn't see the light of day as a licensed and copy-write protected product until then.
