When a cockroach is turned upside down, it may struggle to right itself by using its legs to flip back over. Cockroaches have a strong instinct to stay upright, so they will typically try to correct their position when turned upside down.
I think it is because people are used to read from left to right ( normally ), but when they read upside down with text or numbers, they still read from left to right, and that is why reading upside down, in my opinion, affects our fist thoughts without hesitating. Tell me if I am wrong or not!
The upside down version: SWIMS The right side up version: SWIMS This is the word that is 5 letters in capitals the same turned upside down :)) Hope that helps all you smart kids out there <3
The clamp holds the thermometer up right at the right hight. the bottom of the thermometer shouldn't be touching the bottom of the beaker or what ever it is. make sure the clamp his holding the very top of the thermometer so you can see the numbers.
Yes, it is. Canadian coins are struck as what's called "Medal Turned" meaning both sides of the coins are right side up turning the coin left to right. Our US coins are "Coin Turned" and are opposite. One side is upside down.
With a THERMOMETER.
A clinical thermometer typically shows a maximum reading while a lab thermometer typically shows the temperature right now. When you take a thermometer out of a patients mouth (or other place that you are measuring the temperature) you most often want the maximum temperature to keep showing until you reset the instrument. When using a lab oratory thermometer you want the instrument to react as quickly as possible so that changes (up and down) can be noticed and recorded.
If it's both upside down and reversed from left to right, it would be equivalent to the image rotated 180 degrees.
i know this sounds like a really stupid answer, but have you tried turning the ring over, and reading it "upside down" because that could in fact be the right way up.... i thought my ring said "526" and then i turned it upside down and realised that it was in fact 925..... look at the 2 in the middle and try and see what way up it is meant to go.... that's the best answer i can give, hope that helps in some way Answer 2: Normally those numbers (on any jewelry) are the quality and or quantity of precious metals involved.
1961 can be read the same way right side up and upside down.
The word "NOON" is an example of an image that reads the same right side up and upside down.
