Mandatory equipment include a helmet, arm pads, shoulder pads, gloves, lacrosse stick (obviously), and a cup (highly recommended). One optional piece of equipment is a rib guard. Goalies need special equipment such as goalie stick, goalie chest pad, throat guard, and padded goalie pants.

High school and college players are required to wear; helmet, mouth piece, shoulder pads, hip pads, a butt pad, thigh pads, knee pads, and clears. A lot of the time you'll see nfl players not using their knee pads and or thigh pads bc they aren't required
in ice hockey you will need a helmet neck guard chest protecter/shoulder pads elbow pads, jack(M) or jill(F) hockey pants, hockey socks, shin pads and good skates.
