A Baby Alive doll can be for either boys or girls. Typically girls are the ones who play with dolls but that does not mean that boys cannot play with them.
Little boys do not play with dolls, because the male figure do not allow them to.. They believe if your young little boy plays with a doll it might affect them in later years. This is my opinion only.
