Why can't i type anything?

It might be a virus but if your computer wont let you either you have to get a new one or you have to get a new keyboard.

There are many reasons why your keyboard may not work just some of them are:

• the USB at the back of the pc that connects the keyboard may be lose
• there maybe a a fault with the keyboard (get a new one like said above)

if it was a virus it may show up in your virus scanner.

if the whole computer is freezing not just your keyboard then there may be a pc issue there or there is a possibilty that there is a virus elswhere on your system. most of the time when i have a problem with a usb keyboard and the num lock, scroll lock or caps lock buttons/lights dont light up when pressed then when i re-start the pc it works, no idea why it just does. It is hard to determine what is wrong with not a lot of information, but before you go out and buy a new pc try these steps:

• check the connection between the usb and the pc (if a wireless one just check the connecton reconnect if nesseray, or replace the battries)

• restart your pc
• scan for viruses
• check your keyboard settings in control panel

try them in order, if it still doesnt work then you may want to get a new keyboard.

that is the best i can sujjest you try, the restarting thing if you have not tried that then it ussally works for me but there is not a lot of information to go by but at least there is some stuff to try.

If you are using a computer, it's possible that your keyboard is not plugged into the computer, or the cord is broken. It's also possible every single key is stuck, not letting you push any keys.

If you are using a portable device, it's possible your touch screen is broken, or keypad again if you have one. It's also possible your device is not turned on.

If you are referring to you just can't type. It is possible you haven't had enough practice yet, and to keep practicing. Just take a book, and type a chapter up every day. Soon, you will be typing very fast. That or you may not have any arms. That too is a possibility.
