The language they spoke was Quechua which they imposed on all the peoples they conquered. Because of this, Quechua is still spoken among large numbers of Native Americans throughout the Andes. They had no writing system at all, but they kept records on various colored knotted cords called, quipu .
In India there are many languages and not confined to Hindus or so. Many Hindus speak many different languages in India
there is so many languages in Asia because people are not close to each other that they have to speak alot of languages.
Although many Europeans, like myself, speak several languages there are millions, especially English and French, who only speak one. So I would say that on average a European speaks 2 languages.
