Sports Action Figures often lack joints for a few reasons. First, solid constructions can make them more durable and better suited for display, as they can maintain their poses without the risk of joints loosening over time. Additionally, a simpler design can reduce production costs and streamline manufacturing, making them more affordable for consumers. Finally, fixed poses can represent iconic moments or actions in sports that resonate more with fans.

Hydraulic action occurs on jointed rocks because water can penetrate the cracks and joints in the rock, applying pressure to these weak points. Over time, the force of the water can cause erosion and the eventual breakup of the rock along these joints.
