For a feminine look, pinks, peaches of yellows (all in pastels) work well.
For a masculine look, taupe, grey or even black would be wonderful.
For an elegant look use crisp white, lots of texture make this work well.
Sage Green
Any other dark green color. Glad you asked. - Randy Peterson
Yes sage is a color. It's a type of translucent green.
Beige carpet pairs well with a variety of wall and bedding colors. Soft neutrals like white, cream, or light gray can create a calming, cohesive look. For a bit more contrast, consider adding pastel shades like pale blue or sage green for walls, and use bedding in complementary tones or subtle patterns. Richer colors like navy or deep burgundy can also work well as accents to add depth and interest.

I would suggest a light color wall such as kahki or off white. Then for the curtains maybe a white or even a sage green. You definetly want a light color on the walls so as to lighten the room so it doesn't have a cave affect.
