The only coins that officially honor specific states are the State Quarters issued from 1999 to 2008. If you have a penny with the letters OK or an outline of Oklahoma on it, it's a privately-manufactured novelty item. They use metal punches to put an image on genuine cents and sell them as "collectibles".

You can find ads for these sets in the backs of magazines and in novelty-gift catalogs. From a numismatic standpoint, though, they're considered to be altered coins and don't have any real value to coin collectors.
