There are buses every 15 mins (i think), from Buchanan bus station. It takes about an hour to get to Edinburgh. You could get a train as well from Queen Street or Central, also takes about an hour.

Which Thistle? Basically you need a bus to the city centre - these are always outside the airport. Get off at the Buchanan bus station, and if it is the Thistle I am thinking of you can easily walk to it.
