Back in the mid to late 80's Santa Monica Blvd was flooded with young men and boys plying their trade for a quick $20 bill which also came with a high risk of police involvement when they least expected it due to all of the impromptu raids which LASO Deputies would perform from time to time resulting in multiple arrests with each weekly sweep. Now due to the involvement of RUSSIAN MAFIA and heavy RUSSIAN POPULATION within the WEST Hollywood GAY COMMUNITY Santa Monica Blvd is now full of businesses that are now RUSSIAN OWNED AND OPERATED which has cut down in any type of illicit sexual activity which once held WEST HOLLYWOOD in a stranglehold grip back in the 80's and with heavy LASO Deputies patrolling 24 hours a day has made WEST HOLLYWOOD a much more desirable area to work and live. Now people are able to take leisurely strolls without having to worry about being assaulted or accosted which was the normal behavior of many street hustlers once nightfall fell on the blvd.
