Both the RED WOLF and Florida WOLF are extinct, but eastern North Carolina is home to a re-introduced population of RED WOLF/COYOTE HYBRID.
The Red Wolf was re-introduced to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in the 1990s, but the program was cancelled in 1998 due in part to wolves roaming past the boundaries of the park.
Wolves have supposedly not been around since 1890, but many people including me believe that they are still alive and well all throughout northern, central, eastern, and western, NY. To many scientists wolves are not native to NY state. Hopefully Ny state will "reintroduct", if they haven't already, wolves into NY state.

The state flower of Georgia is the Cherokee Rose. It is very likely that this is the Georgia state flower in that the Native American Tribe, the Cherokee once had their land here.

no
Wolves are not native to Georgia, and there are no established wild populations in the state. However, it's possible for a lone wolf to wander into the area from other regions. Additionally, some people may keep wolves or wolf-dog hybrids as pets, which could be found in Woodstock. Overall, the likelihood of encountering a wild wolf in Woodstock, GA, is very low.

No. Georgia was a charter given to James Oglethorpe, created as an asylum for debtors.
Actually, there are. They aren't the Red timber wolf. They are simply the Texas wolf, the red wolf. Red wolves are not a native species, but they are commonly spotted in the state. And, of course, coyotes are commonly referred to as "Brush wolves".
