In California, a handicap parking ticket typically does not result in points on your driving record. However, it can lead to fines and other penalties, such as increased fees for future parking violations. It's important to address the ticket promptly to avoid additional consequences, but driving record points are generally not applied for these types of violations.

All tickets given in California have those EXACT directions written ON THE TICKET. I cannot tell you what they are because it is different for every city/county.

I just got one due to I had the wrong placard in the vehicle as I am disabled as well as my daughter and it will cost me 279.00.
It shouldn't - only "moving" (not parking) violations affect your rate.
If you received a ticket for not displaying a handicap parking sign, it typically means that the space you parked in required a visible permit to indicate your authorized use of the handicap spot. It's important to check the specific parking regulations in your area, as they can vary. If you believe the ticket was issued in error, you may have the option to contest it by providing proof of your handicap permit. Consider reviewing the ticket details and local laws for guidance on how to proceed.
go to where ever you have to pay that ticket, bring your handi cap permit and show that you have one and that it was valid for when you got the ticket and they will dismiss it
