Yes, they can. My daughter is a 7th grader who is 5' 7" and really good at Basketball and volleyball so she has been practicing with the varsity teams this summer.
Unless you are dealing with private schools, 7th graders are not allowed to compete any higher than at the middle school level. By rule, 8th graders can compete at the Junior Varsity High School level, but only in sports where there is no program for that sport offered at the middle school level.
it depends what school you go to Most schools have both.
what do 10th graders need for back to school
6th graders 8th graders and 7th graders go there
varsity only
90%, I did a research on it
This depends upon the rules of the state high school athletic association. For example, in Indiana a high school football player is limited to five quarters of participation per week. In Georgia, it's six quarters. In Montana, it's ten.
Yes cause I seen it my self cause I go to that school
On august 10 for 7th graders and august13 for 8th graders
My sister plays on a varsity team for Wolf pack. My high school varsity (American) football team repeatedly failed miserably.
It depends on the school.
no, for school cheer leading you are only able to be on one team at a time. varsity is for older, better cheer athletes while junior varsity is for younger.
